Microblading
Microblading is a highly precise semi-permanent treatment designed to create natural-looking, fuller brows. Using fine, hair-like strokes, pigment is implanted into the skin to mimic the appearance of real brow hairs. At The Hidden Beauty Room, we offer a range of brow techniques to suit different preferences and skin types.
Feather brows are ideal for those wanting a soft, natural finish, closely replicating real hair growth. Ombre brows offer a more defined, shaded look, with a gradient effect that gives a fuller appearance. Combination brows blend both techniques, creating depth and texture for a beautifully balanced result.
During your consultation, we carefully assess your face shape, natural brow growth, and desired outcome to create a bespoke design. The result is long-lasting brows that enhance your features while still looking natural.
Microblading can save you time in your daily routine and boost your confidence with perfectly shaped brows every day.

Lip Blush
Lip blush is a semi-permanent treatment designed to enhance the natural beauty of your lips by adding colour, definition, and the illusion of fullness. By depositing pigment into the top layer of the skin, this treatment can correct uneven tone, redefine the lip shape, and create a more youthful appearance.
For those who love a bold finish, the lipstick effect provides a more saturated colour, creating the look of fuller lips without the need for daily makeup. It’s perfect for clients who regularly wear lipstick or liner and want a long-lasting, polished look.
If you prefer something softer, sheer lips offer a subtle flush of colour with gentle definition. This option enhances your natural lip tone while keeping the result light and fresh. A custom pigment is always selected to complement your skin tone and personal style.
Top-up treatments are available after 6-12 weeks to perfect the colour and ensure long-lasting results.
FAQS About Your Semi-Permanent Make Up Appointment
How long does semi-permanent make-up last?
«Results typically last between 1-3 years depending on the treatment and your skin type. Regular top-ups help maintain the colour and definition.
Does it hurt having semi-permanent make up?
«A numbing cream is applied to minimise discomfort during the procedure. Most clients find the sensation very manageable, and we can always stop to give you little breaks.
What is the healing process like?
«The area may appear darker for a few days before softening as it heals. There may be some flaking or crusting of the area treated too. Full healing usually takes around 4-6 weeks.
Can I choose my lip or brow shape and colour?
«Yes, every treatment is fully customised. We work with you to design a look that suits your features and preferences.
Do I have to have a consultation?
«Yes, we recommend booking a free consultation to discuss your goals and suitability. This ensures the best possible results.
Who is NOT suitable for SPMU?
«Certain medical conditions or skin types may not be suitable. We will assess this during your consultation. We do not recommend SPMU for people who are pregnant, breastfeeding, under 18, or have been taking acne medication like Accutane within the last 6 months. People with active skin conditions such as psoriasis or eczema, blood disorders, uncontrolled diabetes, or who are undergoing cancer treatment should also avoid semi-permanent make-up.
How long does the appointment take?
«Initial appointments usually take 2–3 hours, including consultation, mapping, and treatment.
Will I need a top-up treatment?
«Yes, a top-up after 6-12 weeks is recommended to perfect the results and longevity. Many people also have further top-ups every six months or year to ensure the colour remains as perfect as possible.
Can I wear makeup afterwards?
«You’ll need to avoid makeup on the treated area during the healing period. We will provide you with full aftercare advice and can explain everything at your complimentary consultation.
Does the pigment change colour over time?
«Pigments fade gradually and evenly over time which is why most people opt for a follow-up treatment six months or a year later. We use high-quality products to ensure natural-looking results.
